Soccer Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Poly Parrots didn't have quite enough to beat the Arleta Mustangs and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Parrots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 865th, while the Mustangs are ranked 374th).

Poly has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. As for Arleta, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Poly has already played their next contest (against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arleta has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Grant on the 17th.
