Volleyball Recap: Westerville South Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Worthington Kilbourne, Westerville South was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against Newark by a score of 3-1. Westerville South hasn't had any issues with Newark recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

While Westerville South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Newark scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 25-21.

Leo Harden paced Westerville South's offense, picking up 13 kills. Harden got some help from David Mowery and his 27 assists. Cole Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
