Recap: Wamogo Regional Warriors vs. Canton Warriors
The Wamogo Regional Warriors won the last time they faced the Canton Warriors, and things went their way on Saturday too. Wamogo Regional enjoyed a cozy 66-51 win over Canton.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wamogo Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quinn Coffey, who scored 16 points along with seven assists. The matchup was Coffey's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Turtoro, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
The win got Wamogo Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Canton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wamogo Regional will take on Housatonic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canton, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bolton at 6:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Bolton is ranked 131st, while Canton is ranked 111th).
