Soccer Game Preview: Bartow vs. Fort Meade

The Bartow Yellow Jackets will challenge the Fort Meade Miners at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Bartow's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Fort Meade has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Bartow didn't have quite enough to beat Davenport and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Fort Meade came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hardee on Friday, sneaking past 3-2.

Bartow's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Fort Meade, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Everything went Bartow's way against Fort Meade in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as Bartow made off with a 3-0 win. Will Bartow repeat their success, or does Fort Meade have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
