Volleyball Recap: Hayti Takes a Loss

Hayti was the 3-2 winner over South Pemiscot when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Friday.

While Hayti ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 25-17.

Hayti has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for South Pemiscot, their win ended a nine-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

As of now, neither Hayti nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
