Basketball Recap: O'bannon Finds Home Court Redemption Against Charleston

There's no place like home for O'Bannon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Charleston Tigers by a score of 64-55 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Greenwaves in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Charleston saw an underclassman step up: freshman Omari Price posted 26 points. Those 26 points gave Price a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Branderious Bankston, who earned 12 points.

O'Bannon's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Charleston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

O'Bannon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-58 defeat against Ingomar on the 11th. As for Charleston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-37 loss against Palmer on the 11th.
