North Rose-Wolcott came into Friday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 81-25 victory over the Marion Black Knights. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Rose-Wolcott's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Marion, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Rose-Wolcott has already played their next contest (against Early College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marion is taking a road trip to take on Gananda Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gananda Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Marion likes a good challenge.
