Soccer Recap: Nixa Takes a Loss

If Nixa was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Lebanon on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Glendale Falcons on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Nixa in their meetings with Glendale: they've now lost nine in a row.

Nixa's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Glendale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nixa will welcome Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glendale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
