Recap: Chapel Hill Panthers vs. Tri-Cities Bulldogs
If the Chapel Hill Panthers were feeling good off their 85-50 takedown of the Hiram Hornets last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Chapel Hill fell to Tri-Cities 82-77. Chapel Hill was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tri-Cities apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Tri-Cities can attribute much of their success to Jayden London, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. London has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Keith, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
Chapel Hill now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Tri-Cities, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Chapel Hill will be playing at home against Midtown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midtown is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Tri-Cities, they will head out on the road to face off against Lithia Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
