Volleyball Recap: Northland Pines Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northland Pines lost against Medford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 12-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Northland Pines saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eden Smith had 26 digs and one assist. Smith is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 21 every time she's taken the court this season.

Northland Pines' defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Medford, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Northland Pines didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Columbus Catholic on the 27th. As for Medford, they will face off against Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
