Dalton Walker Delivers Best Performance of Season

Dalton Walker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards.

Buffalo had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Walker it was a similar story. When Walker last faced the Bison back in October of 2023, he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards.

A Season-Best Effort from Trystyn Tidrow Leads Elkhart over Buffalo

Trystyn Tidrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.

On the year, Tidrow has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 174.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 21 rushing yards.

Bryce Wallum Dazzles in Troup Victory

Bryce Wallum's big game helped extend Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Wallum as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Troup's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Wallum and Troup will welcome New Diana on Friday.

New Diana Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Davyon Mapps

New Diana picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Davyon Mapps. Nobody could stop Mapps as he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.

This year, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Wells Posts Huge Game in 50-6 Win

Brett Wells was instrumental in extending Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Wells as he rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Winona, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Wells. Wells rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in October of 2023.
