Football Game Preview: Coahulla Creek Colts vs. Ringgold Tigers + How To Watch

The Coahulla Creek Colts will face off against the Ringgold Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Things were looking good for Coahulla Creek after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 21-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Murray. The Colts have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Waelyn Baliles, who threw for 181 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score. Tyler Douglas was Baliles' top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 66 yards.

Meanwhile, after only three points in their last matchup, Ringgold made sure to put some points up on the board against Sonoraville last Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 41-34 win over the Phoenix. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Phoenix recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ringgold's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Coahulla Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coahulla Creek was dealt a bruising 42-3 defeat at the hands of Ringgold in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Colts were down 28-3.
