Softball Recap: Gwinn Takes a Loss

Gwinn fell victim to Hancock and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Bulldogs. The Modeltowners' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Gwinn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawna Sundholm, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Gwinn's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hancock, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coming up, Gwinn will take on Rapid River at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Modeltowners are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hancock, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Calumet on the 28th.
