Softball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork lost against Gentry back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Fork Tigers lost 16-1 to the Gentry Pioneers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Fork saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Harderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

West Fork now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Gentry, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, West Fork will square off against Elkins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Fork has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Gentry will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gravette at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st.
