Basketball Recap: Rondout Valley Comes Up Short

Rondout Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-34 defeat at the hands of the Red Hook Raiders. The Ganders were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Rondout Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Red Hook, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Rondout Valley will be playing at home against New Paltz at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Hook, they will venture away from home to take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Hook will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
