Basketball Game Preview: Commerce Tigers vs. Winnsboro Raiders

Commerce is 0-6 against Winnsboro since December of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Commerce Tigers will be playing at home against the Winnsboro Raiders at 6:15 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Commerce faced off against Rains on Tuesday. Commerce took a hard 69-52 fall against Rains. Meanwhile, Winnsboro entered their tilt with Martins Mill on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They secured a 42-37 W over the Mustangs. The 42-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Winnsboro is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 games, which provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Commerce, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.
