Football Recap: Belton Starts Season with Win Against Hendrickson + How To Watch

Belton had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 21-17 W over the Hendrickson Hawks. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 14-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Will Shepard was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 102.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
