Softball Recap: Hoosick Falls Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hoosick Falls walked away with it. They never let the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Fonda-Fultonville's batters probably weren't too happy with Kennedy Boisvert, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (she gave up two walks). Boisvert has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Izabella Stefanovich, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Zoe James also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Hoosick Falls' win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Fonda-Fultonville, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-7.

As of now, neither Hoosick Falls nor the Valley Hawks have any future games scheduled.
