Volleyball Recap: Field Kindley Takes a Loss

Field Kindley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chanute Blue Comets.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8.

Leading Chanute to victory were Addy Hughes and Kiley Dillow. Hughes had 12 kills, while Dillow had three aces. Hughes is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Field Kindley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chanute, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coincidentally, Field Kindley and Chanute will both be playing Fort Scott the next time they take the court. The Golden Tornado will head out to face the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Comets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
