Soccer Game Preview: Schaumburg vs. Buffalo Grove

The Schaumburg Saxons will head out to square off against the Buffalo Grove Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Schaumburg's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Schaumburg's win against Barrington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saxons never let the Fillies/Broncos get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. That's two games straight that Schaumburg have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Mati Krzanowski, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Hersey. While losing is never fun, Buffalo Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Hersey are ranked 23rd).

Buffalo Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-3. As for Schaumburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.
