Soccer Game Preview: Ferguson vs. Coral Reef

The Ferguson Falcons will take on the Coral Reef Barracudas at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Ferguson's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Ferguson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Wednesday. They beat Mourning by a goal, winning 1-0.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Coral Reef had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Coral Gables on Wednesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Barracudas' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 71st).

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7-5. As for Ferguson, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-2.
