Basketball Recap: Monroe Central Takes a Loss

Monroe Central lost against Union Local back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Monroe Central Seminoles took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Local Jets.

Monroe Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Union Local, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe Central has already played their next contest (against Martins Ferry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Union Local will square off against Zanesville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
