Fabian Bolanos Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Vista del Lago was led to victory by  Fabian Bolanos, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Bolanos rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making two total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Bolanos must have Paloma Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When  Bolanos last faced the Wildcats  back in October of 2023, he picked up 148 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Amarion Orange and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
  Amarion Orange was instrumental in extending Rancho Verde's winning streak to five on Friday. Liberty had no answer to  Orange  as he picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Orange really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.
 Rancho Verde pushed their record up to 6-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Orange will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  effort when he faces off against Orange Vista on Friday.

George Campbell Sets Career High in  Rushing Yards
 Rancho Verde was led to victory by  George Campbell, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Campbell rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This year,  Campbell  has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 49.2 rushing yards per game.

Vista Del Lago Gets a Boost from Dupree Boyd in  45-7  Win
 The second Vista del Lago player making an appearance here is  Josiah Dupree Boyd, and for good reason. He threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards.
 On the year,  Dupree Boyd  has thrown 20 touchdowns (and  and only 2 pick) while averaging 203.4 passing yards per game.

Big Game from Thompson As Rancho Verde Won 24-13
  C.J. Thompson put up the most  rushing yards he's  had since back in August on Friday. He threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
 For the year,  Thompson  has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 188.3 passing yards per game.
