Softball Recap: Onalaska Takes a Loss

Onalaska was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to the Crockett Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-5 last Tuesday.

Brylie Tieskoetter was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Peyton Brooks was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Onalaska's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Crockett, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Onalaska will square off against rival New Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crockett is set to challenge their familiar foe Anderson-Shiro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
