Baseball Recap: Lawton-Bronson Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lawton-Bronson's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Akron-Westfield Westerners on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lawton-Bronson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Akron-Westfield, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Lawton-Bronson will head out to challenge Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Akron-Westfield, they will face off against West Sioux at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
