Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami Country Day). They put the hurt on the Ransom Everglades Raiders with a sharp 6-2 win on Thursday. With the Spartans ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Ransom Everglades from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

The victory got Miami Country Day back to even at 5-5-1. As for Ransom Everglades, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.

After both having extra time off, Miami Country Day and South Florida HEAT will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Ransom Everglades, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Florida Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Florida Christian's last eight matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
