University Prep has gone 8-2 against Sultan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. University Prep is taking a road trip to face off against Sultan at 4:00 p.m. University Prep hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Thursday, University Prep came up short against Overlake and fell 5-2.

Hawthorne Moody spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, University Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Keppler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Those hits marked the first that Keppler got this season.

Meanwhile, while Sultan put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Orcas Island. Sultan was the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over Orcas Island. The Turks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 15 runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sultan and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for University Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
