Volleyball Recap: Bay Tech Comes Up Short

Bay Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas. Bay Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Leadership Public Schools Richmond apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bay Tech took Leadership Public Schools Richmond into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 15-10.

Bay Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Leadership Public Schools Richmond, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Bay Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leadership Public Schools Richmond, they will take on Invictus at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
