Thunderbird has gone 9-1 against Moon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Thunderbird will host Moon Valley at 4:00 p.m. This will be Thunderbird's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Last Thursday, Thunderbird came up short against Lakewood and fell 9-6. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly three runs.

Thunderbird got a good showing from Anton Moya, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Moya a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

On the hitting side, Austin Coates made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Andrew Cohill was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Moon Valley's offense. They came up short against Forge Christian on Friday, falling 11-0. That makes it the first time this season the Rockets have let down their home crowd.

This is the second loss in a row for Thunderbird and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Moon Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Thunderbird took their victory against Moon Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0. Does Thunderbird have another victory up their sleeve, or will Moon Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
