Baseball Recap: Chrisman Takes a Loss

Chrisman lost to Grain Valley back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-1.

Chrisman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Dillard, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Chrisman has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Grain Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

Chrisman will venture away from home to take on Smithville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grain Valley, they will welcome Shawnee Mission East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
