Baseball Recap: John Paul II Catholic Comes Up Short

John Paul II Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 last Monday.

John Paul II Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Ashley, who went 1-for-4 with one double. That double marked the first that Ashley has hit this season.

John Paul II Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.

John Paul II Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Coastal Christian on the 28th. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Wayne Christian on the 28th.
