The Scott Highlanders will face off against the Maryville Christian Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Maryville Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Scott, who comes in off a win.

Scott took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-28 victory over Gibbs. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Eagles are ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Maryville Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 53-49 to Carter.

Scott's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Maryville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
