After both having extra time off, the Westerly Bulldogs and the West Warwick Wizards will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westerly will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Westerly won the last time they faced Lincoln and Ella Keegan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs blew past the Lions 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Keegan, who had 17 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-14.
Meanwhile, West Warwick faced Exeter-West Greenwich in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wizards fell just short of the Scarlet Knights by a score of 3-2. The Wizards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
West Warwick actually scored more points across those five sets (108-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 11-25, 25-23, 27-25, 15-10.
Westerly will have to contain Jaslynn Kue as she made an impact in West Warwick's last game. She had 18 digs and six aces. Grace Gallo also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Westerly's win bumped their record up to 18-0. As for West Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Westerly has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11.9 aces per game. However, it's not like West Warwick struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Westerly took their victory against West Warwick in their previous meeting on Monday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wizards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
