Baseball Recap: Carmel Takes a Loss

Carmel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Yorktown Huskers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Carmel saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Bevan, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Yorktown, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Carmel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-2 loss against Walter Panas on the 10th. As for Yorktown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Lakeland on the 10th.
