Baseball Recap: Pershing Takes a Loss

Pershing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Academy of the Americas, falling 12-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Academy of the Americas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Thursday.

Pershing's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Academy of the Americas, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Pershing has already played their next game (against Southeastern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Academy of the Americas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-7 victory against Denby on the 22nd.
