Basketball Recap: Glenmora Takes a Loss

If Glenmora was feeling good fresh off their 48-22 takedown of Bunkie on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 67-31 loss at the hands of the Bell City Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Bruins are ranked 18th).

Glenmora has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Bell City, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenmora will face off against Reeves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.38 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bell City, they will challenge Zwolle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
