Football Recap: Wellington Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Wellington rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Elizabeth Cardinals 35-0. Considering the Eagles have won ten games by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

One reason for the win was Wellington's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Ethan Thurnes, Julius Olivo, and Tanner Gray, who each picked up one sack apiece.
