Softball Recap: Luray Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Luray finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 19-2 to the Strasburg Rams. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Luray's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Strasburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luray will head out to challenge Central Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Strasburg, they will head out on the road to square off against Madison County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
