Yutan won the last time they faced Logan View/Scribner-Snyder and things went their way on Friday too. The Yutan Chieftains walked away with a 55-47 victory over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. Given the Chieftains' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Logan View/Scribner-Snyder are ranked 189th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Grayson Kraus, who posted 12 points. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Nolan Robley was another key player, to rack up 13 points.

Yutan has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Looking ahead, Yutan will square off against Shelby-Rising City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-33 defeat against Fort Calhoun on the 24th.
