Soccer Recap: Riverton/Tri-City Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Riverton/Tri-City after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell 3-1 to the Olympia Spartans. If Riverton/Tri-City were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Olympia when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverton/Tri-City's goal came courtesy of Keirstan Shamblin, which was the first she's scored this season.

Riverton/Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Olympia, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coming up, Riverton/Tri-City will venture away from home to take on Springfield Southeast at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield Southeast will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Riverton/Tri-City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olympia, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Canton at 4:30 p.m.
