Northern Nash had taken Southern Nash down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Northern Nash Knights fell just short of the Southern Nash Firebirds by a score of 8-6. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ben Edgerton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Landyn Worrell also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Northern Nash now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Southern Nash, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-5.

While Northern Nash had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
