Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breckenridge Huskies.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Breckenridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3-3 record this season.

Bridgeport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Carrollton on the 27th. As for Breckenridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mayville on the 27th.
