Volleyball Recap: Fort Payne's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fort Payne won the last time they faced Clay-Chalkville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Fort Payne to victory were Ally Chadwick and Carley Cash. Chadwick had six digs and six assists, while Cash had six digs and two assists.

Fort Payne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.

Fort Payne's victory bumped their record up to 42-13. As for Clay-Chalkville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-24.

Fort Payne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Hartselle on the 23rd. Clay-Chalkville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
