Volleyball Game Preview: Calvert Senecas vs. Northwood Rangers

The Calvert Senecas are taking a road trip to challenge the Northwood Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvert will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Calvert can't be too worried about heading out to take on Northwood: they just beat Old Fort at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Senecas put the hurt on the Stockaders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Calvert got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Coleman out in front who had nine digs.

Meanwhile, Northwood came up short against Genoa Area on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Calvert, their victory bumped their record up to 16-0.

Calvert was able to grind out a solid win over Northwood in their previous matchup back in October of 2017, winning 2-0. Will the Senecas repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
