Soccer Recap: TMI-Episcopal Comes Up Short

TMI-Episcopal lost against Central Catholic last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The TMI-Episcopal Panthers lost 5-1 to the Central Catholic Buttons. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Buttons are ranked tenth).

TMI-Episcopal has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Central Catholic, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Coming up, TMI-Episcopal will head out to face off against St. Thomas Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Thomas Catholic will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something TMI-Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight. Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
