Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Macarthur's Winning Streak

After flying high against Arlington last Tuesday, MacArthur came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell 61-54 to the Lakeview Centennial Patriots on Tuesday. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 53-51 to the Patriots when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

MacArthur moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Lakeview Centennial, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, MacArthur will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Lovejoy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeview Centennial, they will face off against Young Men's Leadership Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
