Recap: Gospel Light Christian vs. Alamance Christian Warriors
Gospel Light Christian suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Alamance Christian by a score of 46-43. Gospel Light Christian has struggled against Alamance Christian recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Gospel Light Christian still got an impressive performance from Drake Walker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Creed Coleman, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Gospel Light Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Alamance Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gospel Light Christian will take on Liberty Preparatory Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alamance Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carolina M at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina M is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
