Lakewood extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Areona McKoy. The Lakewood Leopards walked away with a 57-48 win over the Neuse Charter Cougars on Tuesday thanks to McKoy, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

Takiyah Carr was another key player, putting up ten points along with five boards and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Neuse Charter lost, don't look at Yedidia Tsolenyanu. Despite the final result, she put up 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lily Temple, who earned 12 points and six boards.

Lakewood's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Neuse Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Neuse Charter have any future games scheduled.
