Premont proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 30) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Ben Bolt Badgers 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cowboys have posted since December 9, 2025.

Premont's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Ben Bolt, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Premont will challenge rival Kaufer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ben Bolt is set to face off against their familiar foe La Villa at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
