Austintown-Fitch was the 5-4 winner over Canfield when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austintown-Fitch's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Canfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austintown-Fitch will square off against Alliance at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Aviators have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Canfield, they will welcome Ursuline at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Fighting Irish a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
